Portsea Hotel offers comfortable Country Style Seaside Accommodation all year round with tariffs to suit all budgets. There are a variety of room types with both ensuite & shared bathroom facilities, TV, tea & coffee stations, fridges & heating in our larger rooms. Some rooms have second bedrooms, sitting rooms & bay views across Port Phillip Bay.

The accommodation is ideal for touring couples & families, recreational, conference & meeting groups wishing to experience the wonders of the Mornington Peninsula.

With a range of imported & boutique beers as well as a selection of local and popular Australian wines on offer, the Hotel is the ideal place to relax in front of an open fire and watch a storm roll across the bay. There are four superbly appointed solid jarrah bars, each with their own fantastic bay views, offering the perfect place to soak up the ambiance & while away an afternoon. There is also a Games Room, with 3 Pool Tables, a Large Plasma TV Screen, and TAB.

Those visiting the Porstea Hotel can enjoy a range of walks & tours through Point Nepean National Park, Victoria’s most visited national park, highlighting the military & maritime significance of the area. The historical township of Queenscliff is also a great place for a day trip and can be reached by the ferry which departs daily from Sorrento.

If beautiful limestone buildings, galleries and cafes are your scene, Sorrento is the ideal location for an easy afternoon stroll. For the more adventurous there are surf beaches, golf courses, scuba diving, dolphin swims, seal watching, horse riding & sailing to be experienced, or for a more tantalising time, explore the multitude of award winning boutique wineries & restaurants.

Portsea Hotel has long been renowned for its summer crowds and famous beer garden over looking the water where people from all over the world come to soak up the sunshine and atmosphere. Outside of the summer season the Hotel also enjoys a great reputation for wedding receptions, private functions, meeting & conference packages as well as trade shows & exhibitions.
