Located right on the beachfront, the Portsea Hotel is surrounded by national parks, rugged coastline & stunning views to Port Phillip Bay and beyond.

Portsea Hotel offers comfortable Country Style Seaside Accommodation all year round with tariffs to suit all budgets. There are a variety of room types with both en suite & shared bathroom facilities, TV, tea & coffee stations, fridges & heating in our larger rooms. Some rooms have second bedrooms, sitting rooms & bay views across Port Phillip Bay.

The accommodation is ideal for touring couples & families, recreational, conference & meeting groups wishing to experience the wonders of the Mornington Peninsula.

The Portsea Hotel is open for Breakfast Lunch & Dinner 7 Days a week or you can choose something from our fabulous cake selection to enjoy with your coffee. You can dine on the Terrace overlooking the Bay and keep one eye on the kids as they play on the adjacent lawn area. With so many bars and facilities there is always something happening at the Hotel.

With a range of imported & boutique beers as well as a selection of local and popular Australian wines on offer, the Hotel is the ideal place to relax in front of an open fire and watch a storm roll across the bay in Winter. The beer garden is exceptionally popular and is listed as one of the top 100 places to visit in Victoria.

There is also a Games Room, with 2 Pool Tables, a Large Plasma TV Screen, and TAB.

Those visiting the Portsea Hotel can enjoy a range of walks & tours through Point Nepean National Park, Victoria’s most visited national park, highlighting the military & maritime significance of the area.
