Business Vision:
Our vision will be a moving target into the future. Communication with business partners is paramount. An understanding of their changing needs to meet their client's expectations in conjunction with the implementation of industry changes and improvements will underpin a solid mutually beneficial future relationship.

History:
Squeekieclean commenced operation in 1999. A husband and wife graphic arts couple took over the premises from local doctors and squeekieclean was born. Another couple purchased the business in 2001 with the current owners taking over in September 2007.
Alan is an ex builder and Sue an ex PA marketing executive.

Location:
Squeekieclean is conveniently located directly opposite the beach at 2281 Point Nepean Road (Nepean Highway) RYE BEACH. We are on the corner of Hunt Avenue which is the next on the left past BP if travelling to Portsea. There is car parking out the front on the main road and also a large carpark at the rear with rear access into Squeekieclean.

Quality Control:
We are not a large commercial laundry and we do not mix loads of laundry. Each client's laundry is washed, dried, ironed or folded, packed and stored separately. A unique clientag is attached to all laundry weather it requires one or several machines to accommodate larger loads and accompanies the total load throughout each and every part of the laundering process. The objective of this personal laundry process is to deliver the same quantity of laundry back to our clients that was dropped off,. So the only change is the quality, not the quantity.

Pickup/Delivery:
We offer a pick-up and delivery service for a small cost. Local work is $6.00 each way and places like Rosebud and Portsea is $10.00.

Bags:
We encourage cleaners, managers and owners to have their laundry in clearly marked bags. Stuffing the linen from a five bedroom house into a king size doona cover is not good for us or the linen owner. Laundry is easily damaged or permanently marked if thrown into the boot of a car or van. Additionally space becomes a major issue for us in the busy season. Trying to step over a full king size doona cover (which can take up to four square meters of floor space) is an occupational nightmare.

To solve these issues we recently made a bulk purchase of suitable laundry bags. These bags are available to everybody at a modest cost. They are strong, easily identifiable and designed to do the job without being too heavy when filled with wet towels. They are neatly closed off with a draw cord and locking toggle and easy to carry.

Occupational Health and Safety:
Squeekieclean is committed to an accident free environment.

The Environment:
It is internationally accepted that Front Loaders use 30% less water that Top Loaders. Squeekieclean uses only Front Loaders.

Gas fired Dryers are more efficient than electric Dryers. Squeekie uses only gas fired Dryers.

The soap that is automatically injected (yes no powder soap required) into the washing machines is specially formulated for use in reverse cycle front loading washing machines. It is injected using a computer programmed multi-head dialysis pump. The soap (SL100) rinses out more thoroughly, contains water softeners and optical brighteners.

Security:
The premises are monitored 24 hours a day by a closed circuit high resolution DVD security system. The system is connected to an Armed Mobile Patrol Service Provider. After hours Laundrette users are filmed at all times.

Coin change:
All machines use $1.00 coins. Coins are available at all times when our laundry service is open.
Coin boxes are emptied daily to deter theft and no cash is left on the premises overnight.

Dry Cleaning:
Squeekieclean is an authourised BROWN GOUGE agent.

Personal Laundry Service:
The cornerstone of our business is providing a Personal Laundry Service. Typically our clients are holiday property owners who rent their homes out to friends and also enjoy a good holiday themselves. They don't want theirs or their friend's holiday spoilt with dirty laundry, so they do business with Squeekieclean. Real Estate Agencies and Holiday Rental Managers are also are big part of our client base. We will be exploring additional opportunities from associated industries in the future.
