HOOK UP AND UNWIND with Rip Charters - take time out on the water and be part of our unique Fishing Adventures. Join our experienced skipper and crew aboard BIG BLUE, a 42ft Fly-bridge sports fisher, licensed to fish Bass Strait and Southern Port Phillip Bay or KESTREL, a 44ft Bay Cruiser fishing Southern Port Phillip Bay. Rip Charters Fishing Trips operates daily over summer and the School Holidays offering Sport fishing trips in Bass Strait on Big Blue a 42ft Randall, and Bay Fishing trips aboard Kestrel, the 44ft original Fishing boat of Port Phillip Bay. We offer 5hr and 8hr Charters. Classed a Private charter, group charters offer exclusive use of the vessel and the customer’s choice of duration, targeted species and catering options. At Rip Charters we’re fishing all year round and our specialty is following the seasons to suit the best catch of the day. Troll for Salmon or try casting for some Big Red Snapper, anyone can do it. Or if it’s the big ones you’re after, our ocean swells are home to Sharks such as Mako, Blue Whaler and Threshers - Whiting, Squid and various other reef fish are common among our catch, the variety will astound you. We know the waters of Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait, these are our fishing grounds, so we know where they hide! Our boats, BIG BLUE and KESTREL are especially furbished for your comfort and safety, designed and rigged for fishing and fully covered for all weather conditions to ensure your fishing experience is uninterrupted by sun or rain. We carry all the necessary fish finding, navigational, communication and safety equipment. Charters operate from Sorrento pier, or upon arrangement, pick up can be made from Queenscliff or Portsea piers. We offer 5 and 8 Hour trips which can be booked on as individuals to make up the numbers or as private charters, where a group books the whole boat for their exclusive use. In addition, catering packages can be organised for those special social events. We supply you with bait, tackle and top quality Shimano and Penn fishing equipment and combine that with expert local knowledge and professional experience to take you on a RIP CHARTERS FISHING ADVENTURE. |
| Price Guide: | INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS: Individuals can be small groups joining other small groups to make up charter numbers. Kids pricing is for age 12 & under. • Big Blue Sport Fish: 5 hours = $100 per head (Snapper, Whiting, Squid, Gummys) 6 hours = $120 per head 8 hours = $170 per head (includes barbecue lunch) • Kestrel lll Bay Fish: 5hr $70.00 per person 6hr $85.00 per person Summer Holiday Specials: 5hr $70.00 per Adults $50.00 Kids 6hr $85.00 per Adults $65.00 Kids GROUP CHARTERS: Classed as a private charter, group charters offer exclusive use of the vessel and the customer's choice of duration, targeted species and catering options.
