Set in the heart of Victoria’s tranquil Mornington Peninsula, this charming Federation style former farmhouse offers an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy a peaceful rural holiday. Located just 1 hour from Melbourne CBD, and set on a 50 acre property of pasture, bushland and lake, the Cottage sits in its own private, self-contained gardens away from the main farmhouse.

Cosy in winter yet cool in summer, it has recently been renovated in calm colours with traditional furniture and offers:

• Spacious master bedroom with Queen-sized bed.

• Large 2nd bedroom with a double bed or double plus single if preferred.

• Comfortable 3rd bedroom with bunk beds.

• Cosy sitting/dining room with open fire (plentiful wood supply). Gas-fired heating for immediate warmth. Dining table for six. TV, DVD and VCR, hi-fi system, games and books.

• Country style dining room with microwave, electric frying-pan, electric grill, toaster, kettle, electric slow cooker and fridge-freezer.

• Large bathroom with claw-foot bath, sink, separate toilet and full laundry facilities.

• Second bathroom with shower and wash basin.

• Outdoor undercover BBQ area with gas-fired BBQ.

• Spacious and mature private garden.

• Ample adjacent, secure car and boat parking.

• Freedom to walk and explore the farm.

• Horse agistment available on the property with access to kilometres of trail riding.

• All linen and towels provided

• Cot and high chair available

• Babysitter available

• Floor fans and extra heaters available

• Complimentary bottle of our own labelled local wine - Pobblebonk Plonk - with every booking.

Bellwood Farm, of which Pobblebonk Cottage is part, is a mix of well-established apple orchards and beautiful grazing pasture. The heart of the property holds an area of remnant natural vegetation surrounding a large lake. The combination of unspoilt bush, wetlands and fruit trees attracts a wide variety of birdlife and offers many peaceful corners in which to enjoy an evening walk, observe the birdlife or simply rest and relax. We have our own horses and a small herd of young bullocks all of which are friendly. You are more than welcome to join in with the daily feeding and management of the animals and to pick your own apples when they are in season.

It is your holiday and arrangements can be flexible - please enquire.
