Recently opened and owned/run by Penelope and Mandie; two women who share a passion for good food and good fun who are now offering their culinary skills to the residents and visitors to Mornington. Warm and inviting, Penman's is the only coffee shop in Mornington able to bring you the exclusive and well regarded Griffith's Coffee, which provides a satisfyingly smooth, rich and deep coffee, served with a smile and any way you like it. Teas are loose leaf and served in individual pot/cup combos so you have control over the strength.

Open 7 days - eat in or take away for great breakfasts, as light or as substantial as you want, home cooked lunches, salads, sandwiches and focaccias made to order, and for that little something with your tea or coffee, a great mix of slices and home made cakes. The 'Devonshire scones' are a must and baked fresh daily! House wines, beers and weekly wine specials are available to accompany your meal.

Penelope & Mandie have a shared passion and vision; to offer quality food made with quality produce and to do so at a good price to the customer. Penelope is a really keen foodie who with her husband David, makes her own salamis, sausages, smoked hams and cheese as well as running the coffee shop and a busy home! Mandie is also experienced in the catering and restaurant industry and similarly committed to providing consistently great tasting meals that shout "Real Food" to the diner.

• All Meat is free range and/or organically reared and supplied by local quality butchers Findlays of Frankston.
• We try and source all our products from the local area to bring you the best quality & taste!
• Our food is home-made and we offer a range of local breads to suit your tastes - Multi grain, wholemeal, traditional & rye

It is our goal to be the "home" of good food in Mornington with great local ingredients/suppliers and no corner cutting producing wholesome and hearty home-made food that is both traditional and satisfying.

We offer traditional breakfasts to suit light or robust appetites and our bacon and sausages are premium quality, or perhaps you can be tempted by lightly scrambled or freshly poached free range eggs on toast of your choice? yum!

Lunches are a combination of tried and tested popular meals with a selection of different daily specials. The chilli con carne is already sought after and the freshly made soups of the day are always scrabbled over! Penman's has a great in-house vinaigrette to accompany your salads and the home made Mango Bango accompaniment to the curries is not to be missed!

Although only recently opened, Penman's already prides itself on offering quality value meals and great coffee. It is a warm and welcoming place to relax and indulge yourself. Indoor/outdoor seating and a warm ambiance ensures a good setting to enjoy just a drink or some of the home made cakes and slices, in addition to the meals on offer.
