Ora Banda is ideally situated at the end of a quiet country road in the seaside hamlet of Shoreham. Behind remote controlled gates, you will find yourself amidst mature gums and eucalypts in acreage of sensitively landscaped gardens, showcasing an array of indigenous and drought tolerant plant species. Property abuts 14 acres of native fauna reserve and wetlands.

Ora Banda offers two modern and generously provisioned cottages furnished in a contemporary style.

THE REST:

A spacious, open plan cottage which has been beautifully renovated, retaining century old floorboards. Graduated stairs lead to the luxuriously carpeted bedroom and enormous double spa ensuite. All the modern conveniences, TV/DVD and large Moran Sofas, especially designed for comfort and lounge-ability. Enjoy a local red from one of the nearby, highly acclaimed wineries, beside the slow combustion wood fire in the winter months.

Also reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable and cool in the summer after your carefree day, soaking up the rays.

THE RETREAT:

Aptly named, being a perfect retreat, for world weary souls longing to escape the pressures of city life. Once part of a long established school camp, dating back to the 1920’s, the totally renovated cottage belies its humble beginnings. The original boys/girls divided cottage now houses a very stylish bedroom and spacious ensuite with large recessed shower, vanity and toilet. Overlooking the native reserve land, a lovely sunny breakfast corner and comfortable sofas with an abundance of cushions and luxurious throws. Large French doors open out to a private, brush fenced courtyard with outdoor setting, hammock and sun lounges. Perfect for relaxing with a glass of chilled wine in the afternoon. Also equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning.

A direct beach track, minutes walk from Ora Banda, will find you on the golden sands overlooking Westernport Bay to Phillip Island, the Nobbies and Seal Rocks. The beach is backed by substantial sand dunes and is a favourite with surf enthusiasts, wave jumpers, and is suitable for suitable.
